Nebula introduces an all-in-one performance platform designed to support individual athletes and teams in their pursuit of sustainable, high-level performance. Unlike traditional solutions focused primarily on physical metrics, Nebula connects physical data mental insights, and team synergy to drive smarter performance, providing a more complete and human-centered view of performance.

Nebula Sports set out to create a digital-first platform capable of reflecting the full reality of athletic performance. While the client brought deep domain expertise as a sports performance specialist and athlete, clearly defining metrics, workflows, and performance objectives. The challenge was to translate this vision into a scalable, secure, and intuitive digital product.
Most existing solutions focus on isolated physical metrics, leaving mental, emotional, and team dynamics fragmented or unaddressed. Nebula required a system that could unify multiple dimensions of performance, integrate wearable and non-wearable data, respect privacy within team environments, and support both athletes and staff with distinct yet connected experiences.
AppX designed and developed a complete performance ecosystem composed of a mobile application for athletes and a web-based dashboard for coaches and staff. The solution was built as a flexible, hybrid platform, supporting real-time wearable data, manual inputs, offline usage, and secure synchronization.
AppX was responsible for UX/UI design, technical architecture, backend and frontend development, and the implementation of data models and performance logic, working closely with the client to align technology with sports science principles. Advanced algorithms transform complex data into structured insights, enabling athletes and teams to make informed decisions and support sustainable performance growth.
Nebula captures daily signals across physical, mental, and emotional dimensions, transforming them into structured weekly reports for both individuals and teams. These insights help identify trends, performance blockers, and opportunities for improvement.
Pre and post-training routines guide athletes into and out of training sessions with intention, reinforcing focus, recovery, and long-term development.
Beyond individual metrics, Nebula helps teams understand how athletes connect, communicate, and respond under pressure. By tracking shifts in concentration, adaptability, and engagement, coaches gain visibility into team dynamics.
The platform integrates real-time data from wearables while remaining fully functional without them. This hybrid approach ensures inclusivity, flexibility, and consistent insights regardless of hardware availability.
A dedicated staff dashboard provides coaches and performance staff with role-based access to team and individual insights. Granular permissions ensure privacy and compliance, allowing each stakeholder to access only the information relevant to their role.
