YouBIZ Telecom launched in 2009 in partnership with NOS Telecomunicações and offers a network marketing platform for independent professionals and others seeking additional income. This initiative enables registered collaborators to earn commissions by promoting NOS’s prepaid SIM cards, with no upfront investment required. With over 12,000 active collaborators, YouBIZ Telecom combines opportunity with flexibility, allowing participants to grow their own business within a supportive ecosystem.
YouBIZ Telecom needed to address the complexities in their commission calculations, so they called AppX to develop a new, more efficient version of their business management platform.
The primary challenge faced by AppX in developing the new version of YouBIZ Telecom’s business management platform was the cascading commission tree calculation for the 12 thousand users. In the previous version of the platform, this key process required upwards of eight hours to complete, significantly hindering operational efficiency of the solution. This complexity in calculating commissions in a timely manner became the focal point for AppX, as we aimed to enhance both the speed and accuracy of the system to support YouBIZ Telecom’s growing network and business demands.
To tackle the challenge, AppX engineered a sophisticated solution for YouBIZ Telecom, focusing on drastically improving computation times and user experience. The new platform incorporates tailor-made algorithms to streamline the cascading commission calculations, reducing the process from over eight hours to real-time. Alongside this, the platform features integrated functionalities such as statistics, comprehensive dashboards for business tracking, and an enhanced card issuing system equipped with a barcode reader. These additions not only optimize operational efficiency but also simplify the user interface compared to the previous version.

MySQL, a reliable relational database, was specifically selected to maintain data integrity essential for accurately managing the complex commissions tree structure.
